Frequently asked questions

Dog Daycare

  • Yes we do. It is important to make sure that your pooch will be a good fit & comfortable within the Rangeview environment. We have 5 of our own personal dogs who are all calm, balanced & friendly. We use these guys to meet your pooch when you come for a meet & greet.

  • Yes we do. Provided your dog has completed a previous meet and greet at Rangeview, then we have the ability to be flexible.

  • We have no problem with your dog not being desexed, provided they don't exhibit any unwanted behaviours because of this. However, if you have a female who isn't desexed she will need to stay home while she is on heat.

  • Daycare drop-off hours are strictly between 7.30am-9.00am.

Daycare pick-up hours are strictly between 3.30pm-5.30pm.

  • We don't discriminate with regard to breed. However, it is imperative that if your dog is a part of the Rangeview crew they are able to socialise in a safe and friendly manner. For the safety of our canine family we are not prepared to accept any dogs that display aggressive behaviours.

  • Most of our daycare dogs have set days however, once your dog is in with the Rangeview crew, you are able to change days should the need arise.

  • As the dogs arrive, they hang out inside in their chill spaces until the majority of dogs get here before we let them out to play (a bit like assembly at school!).

This is because it can become a little like a schoolyard & when there are already 10 dogs out playing then an 11th dog arrives, they all crowd around it excitedly at the entrance which isn't pleasant for the incoming dog.

Then they are all let out together & the first thing they do, rather than focus on one another, is go & check out all the 'goss’ from the last time they visited by way of sniffing every surface. This is a nice calm way for them to begin the day’s interactions, then once the sniffing stops they turn to each other and the fun begins!

They are outside all morning until 11.45-12pm when they are well & truly ready for a rest. They are then popped into secure individual resting spaces where they all chill & enjoy a rest.

Around 1pm they are let back out to enjoy an afternoon of more fun and frolics until around 4pm where they are popped back inside to chill and await pick up.

Dog Boarding

  • No they dont. Your pooch is welcome to board without coming for daycare. However, a meet & greet and a trial night sleepover will still be necessary.

  • Yes we do. Rangeview offers both short and long term sleepovers for all pooches that have completed a meet & greet & a trial sleepover.

  • Yes we are. Kelly has vet nurse experience, therefore administering medication is not a problem.

  • Yes they do, unless they are already a daycare dog. We need to be sure that your dog will be comfortable staying over as part of the Rangeview crew.

  • You will need to bring your doggo's usual food (it's not ideal suddenly switching them onto a different diet). If you feed a raw diet, that is totally fine - we have plenty of fridge and freezer space.

You are welcome to bring your dog’s bedding. Having familiar smelling bedding is helpful when your dog is new, as it gives them something known to snuggle up in.

We also have mountains of bedding at Rangeview, so don't worry if you forget!

Dog Training

  • From time to time we do. However, if we are not offering puppy classes when you are wanting them, Kelly can certainly put you in touch with others who run equally good quality classes.

  • Yes, Kelly relishes this part of her work. With over 30 years of extensive experience working with dogs in various circumstances, Kelly has gained plenty of practical knowledge over the years to help with any issues you may be having.

  • Yes we sure do! Kelly offers one-on-one tailored training sessions. Give Kelly a call or message today to discuss any issues you may be having & we can book a time to meet.

  • No currently we are not offering board and train. Feel free to contact us to see if we can help in any other way.

  • Yes we sure do! Kelly is more than happy to address any training issues you have while your dog is here for daycare. This would be tailored to your needs & these can be discussed further in person.
